The Khyzyr Tower is one of the ancient architectural landmarks of Sairam. Constructed from fired brick, the tower once stood over 10 meters high and remains an important historical and spiritual site.

The «Khyzyr» tower is one of the oldest historical and architectural monuments of Sairam and dates back to the 19th century. Associated with the name of the prophet Khyzyr, it is located in the Sairam residential area of Shymkent and represents an important site of spiritual and cultural heritage.

The tower was built of fired brick and originally reached a height of approximately 10.5 meters. However, over time, natural forces and earthquakes caused part of the structure to collapse.

Today, the tower continues to serve as a place of pilgrimage. Its current height is approximately 5 meters, and its diameter is 2.5 meters. The upper section is decorated with ornamental brickwork and arched openings.

Inside, a structure with wooden supports and a central brick column has been preserved, which was once used to access the upper level.

Today, the «Khyzyr» tower remains one of Sairam’s most significant monuments, possessing both spiritual and archaeological value.
