Sairam Museum of «History and Local Lore»

The Sairam History and Local Lore Museum introduces visitors to the rich history and culture of the region. Its exhibitions feature archaeological discoveries, ethnographic artifacts, and historical materials that reflect the area's unique heritage.

The Sairam museum of «History and Local Lore» is part of the Shymkent museum Association and is located on Ibragim Ata street in the historic Sairam residential area.

Following reconstruction carried out between 2006 and 2008, the museum became a modern cultural and educational center.

Its exhibition includes ten galleries dedicated to archaeology, regional ethnography, the history of the ancient city of Isfijab, and the lives of settlers.

The museum allows visitors to trace the region’s history from ancient times to the present day and discover the rich cultural heritage of Sairam.

Today, the museum serves as an important scientific and cultural institution, contributing to the preservation of historical memory and the promotion of cultural heritage.
