Shymkent Railway Station, built in 1916, is one of the city’s most important transportation infrastructure facilities. Today, the station has been modernized to meet contemporary standards and provides a high level of passenger service, offering comfortable facilities and increased capacity.

Shymkent Railway Station is one of the most important facilities of the metropolis’s modern transport infrastructure. To create comfortable conditions for passengers, the station building underwent a complete reconstruction and was renovated in accordance with the city’s modern architectural appearance.

Before the reconstruction, the station’s passenger capacity was 2,000 passengers per hour. Following modernization, this figure increased to 6,000 passengers per hour. This significantly improved service quality and the efficiency of passenger flow management.

The renovated building includes two spacious waiting halls equipped in accordance with modern standards of comfort and passenger service.

The exterior façade of the station was also completely renovated and clad with high-quality factory-produced galvanized panels, enhancing both the durability of the structure and its aesthetic appeal.

Today, Shymkent railway station serves as the city’s gateway and a modern transport and logistics hub, providing passengers with a high standard of service.
