The Tulip Fountain (Qyzgaldaq Fountain) is one of the city's most recognizable and picturesque landmarks. Designed in the shape of a red tulip, the fountain rises to a height of approximately 10 meters and serves as a symbol of Shymkent's identity and beauty.

The «Tulip» fountain is located at the intersection of Tauke Khan avenue and Bauyrzhan Momyshuly avenue and is one of Shymkent’s prominent architectural and landscape landmarks.

Opened in 2010, the fountain has become an important element of the urban environment and an attractive tourist destination.

The main feature of the composition is a ten-meter-tall structure in the shape of a tulip, one of the symbols of the city’s tourism brand. It is situated at the center of a water basin approximately 30 meters in diameter.

During the warm season, the fountain operates with a modern illumination system and offers visitors an impressive musical light show in the evening.

Today, the «Tulip» fountain is an integral part of the pedestrian zone and is among the attractions most frequently visited by tourists coming to Shymkent.
