«Central» Park №1

Central Park is a historic recreational area established in 1925. The park provides comfortable conditions for walking, relaxation, sports activities, and family leisure, making it one of the city's favorite destinations.

«Central» park is one of the oldest and most significant cultural and recreational sites in Shymkent. Established in 1925, it has long been known as the «Central» park of Culture and Recreation.

The park features decorative fountains, outdoor sports grounds, children’s playgrounds, and a dedicated chess area. Three large parking lots are available for visitors’ convenience.

Following reconstruction and landscaping work completed in 2013, the park acquired a modern appearance and became an even more comfortable destination for recreation.

One of the park’s socially significant facilities is the Veterans’ House, which provides opportunities for recreation, communication, and active participation in public life for senior citizens.

Today, «Central» park serves as an important public space that combines historical traditions with modern recreational opportunities.
